TT II's ... 15x7 Best Price?

Ok...I did a search and cannot find the thread I found a while back. I am going with 15x7 ... 4.5: BS on the fronts... where is the best place to buy these? I would luv to buy form a Vendor off the site if they can offer me a good deal.
The Circuit Rider has 16x8" on the front but after driving it a while i do not like they way it handles so I am going with a smaller wheel/tire combo up front. Thanks in advance.

Re: TT II's ... 15x7 Best Price?

www.newstalgiawheel.com has some of the best prices and does free shipping and no tax if out of state.

Another option is Summit Racing.

Re: TT II's ... 15x7 Best Price?

I ordered my wheels through these guys: http://myworld.ebay.com/eliteswheels

It's been a few years, but they gave me a great deal and the shipping was pretty fast.

It seems like 15x7 with 4.5 backspacing will be custom order, if so that's going to be expensive no matter what. Off-the-shelf wheels are much cheaper (but don't always fit exactly right).

I've not ordered mine yet, so I cannot speak on the experience, but I was thinking about this place.

Re: TT II's ... 15x7 Best Price?

Hey Dewayne, make sure you check on the backspacing. I'm pretty sure you said your 16x8's had a 4 or 4.5" bs. 15x8 Torque Thrusts come standard with a 3.75" bs. If you don't get custom backspacing, the front wheels will actually stick out further in the fender that the rears and look a tad goofy.

The other problem may be that a custom deeper bs may cause the interference problems you currently have. I would just go with the 15x7.

The BS that I need is 4.5" which is greater than stock TT II's 15x7 wheels. I looked at the 15x7 but you can't get 4.5" BS with 15x7 wheels (if I read the info correctly) so I will need to go with 15x8. The issues with the 16x8's were they were to tall and I needed to tuck these deeper into the fender well. So a 15x8 with a 4.5" BS with lower profile tires and I should have my isues resolved and be ready to roll. My goal is to put the 2" front drop coils back on as of now I have the standard BB springs which are the same as C20 trucks.

By the way.....anyone know the BS of stock GM truck ralleys? (15x8) If the BS was about 1/2 more than stock GM rallleys I should be in good shape.

Re: TT II's ... 15x7 Best Price?

The 15x7 wheels don't have 4.5" bs, but they're an inch smaller, so they will still tuck correctly. If you go with a 4.5" bs on a 15x8, you will be good as well, especially if they don't rub anywhere. It will look good that way.

I beleive stock 15x8 GM rallies have a 4" bs.
