I used to have a '64 Bonneville convertible but..... honestly.....I never considered such a parts combination. Oh, I liked my Pontiac, too.
One trick to customize some of the '61 to '66 Fords (slicks) is to use a '63 Mercury grille. If you're set on something like that, I'm thinking that a '64 LeMans grille would fit better, maybe on a GMC with its' quad headlights. This isn't anything that I would do, but you asked for suggestions.
