WTB: 71-72 SWB frame

In the next month or 2 I'll be ready for a new frame. I have a 71 LWB right now and would rather swap out a SWB than to cut my LWB down and re weld.

Is there anyone in the KS,MO,OK,AK,NB,IA area that has one they need to get rid of?

Looking to spend as little as possible, lol whats new eh?

this isn't exactly what you are asking for, but i have a 69 swb frame that i would get rid of. I was going to switch all of the suspension from my 72 over, but i think that it would be a whole lot easier to just cut the frame down.

let me know if you are interested

Is there anything wrong with it? I assume a 69 is the same other than the front crossmember w/drums?

I'm taking my down to bare metal for powercoating anyway so its actually easier to start with a different frame.

How much?

It does have front drums and 6 lug suspension. It also has coil springs in the rear (most of the 69 swb do) The truck had set for 7 years before i got it. I got a whole 69 truck in a deal which i really just wanted the swb and 67 front end. It was set up for a 3 on the tree, but don't know if the trans crossmember is different if you are going to run an automatic.

I really don't know what it would be worth. You can make me and offer, or if you have something to trade?

How about a LWB frame? lol

Is this a rolling chassis as it sits now or just the frame?

its a complete rolling chassis, it even comes with a 3 speed manual transmission, suspension (front and rear 6 lug) steel wheels and tires. Like i said, i was going to use it, and drop the entire front crossmember and front suspension off a 72 onto it, but i just think that would be a whole lot of work. Right now, it even have a gutted cab mounted up to it.
