Re: anybody interested in a restored mustang

Its a replica so cost should be less. ( my opinion) If it was a real Boss, it would be rare if the options were all correct and matching numbers.

Re: anybody interested in a restored mustang

legitimates are well into the the 6 figure range. this one is a perfect rep but you wouldn't feel as bad about driving it. in 1969 there were 859 built, just enough to run the motor in nascar. worse part is that the car is a 4 speed as a the originals, my friend that built it is paralyzed from the waist down so he will never be able to drive it

True, key word "legitimates", sorry to hear about your friend. If its really worth it some one will bite, I just couldn't give that much for a replica.

it'll be interesting to see what happens as far as Chris goes he has been in his chair for roughly 18 years now and actually just got his restoration business going big about 8. he's one of those guys that doesn't ever let things stop him.

Re: anybody interested in a restored mustang

Nice car for sure, but it is overpriced in my opinion. I don't think he would even get half that on the overpriced/overhyped Barret Jackson auction.

The economy has brought collector car prices down quite a bit, and its a clone no matter how "correct" it is.
