16.5" steel wheel pics

I thought I'd post these pics in case there are any other dinosaurs like me out there who want to run bigger tires with stock hub caps. I finally scrounged up some 16.5x9.75's (only 3, unfortunately) and compared them to the the 16.5x8.25's that came on my '79 K20 Camper Special. The 8.25's actually have about 1/8" more backset than the 9.75's. So 33x12.50 tires can go on the wider wheels, but the 8.25 are pretty much obsolete with the limited selection of 16.5 tires available today, at least as far as I can figure. Take it for whatever it's worth...

Re: 16.5" steel wheel pics

Cool, thanks. I like the oddball wheels. I have a set of 16.5 slotted mag wheels that were on my truck when I bought it. Would love to restore them an mount them up again.
