dropping a hardbody
hi i just got a hardbody and i want to drop it i found this article http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...yle/index.html the blocks in the rear seem stanndard for these but will cranking the torsion bars keep a good ride or should i just buy spindles thanks in advance

You can lower buy loosening the torsion bars and it doesn't have much of an effect on the ride. It is when people try to crank them up for lift that the ride gets diminished quickly.
The biggest thing to watch out for is the lower bump-stops. If you lower too much w/o cutting them down to compensate, you will bottom-out......that is a really hard ride.

And you can't go to low in tha back without moding tha front spring hanger & spring, they will hang so low they'll meet a speed bump before you wheel does. you can bolt up some titians or EXT wheels & you set....or find some chrome pathfinder wheel like tha one they painted red, add some 205/50/15 up for tha ole school mini truck look
