Long fleet 71 bed. MINT

Ok, i just brought back a 71 truck from Arizona.

I have the cab for sale here.

But if i can sell the bed i will keep the cab.

So here goes.

TRUCK wears ORIGINAL PAINT as far as i can tell. NO i am not kidding.

The only evidence of a repaint was on the front end where it was previously wrecked.

Bed is about as flawless as it gets.

ZERO rust. NONE. Cant even find any dents on the bedsides. Tailgate is presentable. Dented on outside lightly, and inside. But very, very usable.

Bed floor has had some kind of spray in liner installed. It is thin. And you can tell the floor is near mint.

I am open for an offer(OBO).

But i am going to start out asking $1500

I might take a tach dash, truck tilt, or big block alternator brackets and pulleys(crank and water pump both) in partial trade.

I can deliver for the cost of fuel(to you and back).

I have a local guy who looked at it yesterday.

And i told him on the phone that if it wasn't NICER than i described on the phone that i would GIVE IT TO HIM FREE.

Well, i still have it. Because he couldn't believe how nice it was. But he is currently trying to decide if he want's the cab as well.(doesn't have money for both right now).

But he was honest enough to not argue about how nice it is. I said, WAS I RIGHT? The answer was YES, your right.

If this was your color you could honestly buff it and use it.

Call me if you have any questions.

Mike

That is a very good price. Does that include the TG?

Re: Long fleet 71 bed. MINT

It does include the tailgate.

I think it is too close to Christmas to be spending money on a truck bed.

Front bed panel isnt even dented i don't think.

If anyone wants more pics i will gladly get them.

And am open for an offer as well.

That's a super-nice bed. Well worth the asking price, too.

Not back on the road. This is stuff from the last trip. Not the one when i brought your truck to you. I made a trip after that.
But i quit that job i started. Boss changed all the rules. I didn't sign on to do what he changed the job to be. NO thanks.

Re: Long fleet 71 bed. MINT

Really nice Mike. I would love to have it, but I think you hit the nail on the head with being close to Christmas, I think my wife would kill me, and I don't think my kids would like a "big sand box..errrr...truck bed" for christmas!LOL
