Need help with SB engine mounts
I am putting a 350 out of a 75 impala in my truck. The engine mounts on the motor are the newer style with bolts that go through the mount sideways. My truck has the original engine stands. Do I just replace the mounts on trhe block with original 71 truck mounts and then the motor will bolt right up to my truck. It's a TH350 transmission.
Thanks!

Re: Need help with SB engine mounts
Yes, it will be easier to use the stock mounts for the truck. Trucks started using the clamshell mounts in 73, and the frame brackets for those don't fit the earlier crossmembers without modification.

Re: Need help with SB engine mounts
Yeah, my 70 had a 70 impala 350 in it and uses the original truck engine mounts.

Scratch this post... I think I would have only confused people with it so I edited it out.
