Wheel and tire questions
Well it's time to start thinking of wheels and tires. I'm considering the 17" billet rallyes, but I'm also thinking of going to 18" billet wheel. I'm looking for new or used wheels so if you know anyone selling a good set let me know.
Low profile tires are more or less out of the question. I have to have a little meat between the rim and the road just out of necessity. I'm going to be driving everyday and I don't want to have worry about bending rims on these quality Louisiana roads. Currently I'm rolling on a 2/3 drop soon to be a 3.5/4. Once again I would like a 4/6, but between the long tube headers and the roads it would make driving a chore. So the question is what size wheel and tire package? What is a good offset? Should I go wide in the back and if so how wide can I go? I think to be safe I should go with a size that will allow for a 4/6 drop incase I change my mind. All help is appreciated. Pics would help also.
