Gas Mileage Question for LO5 Motor...

What should the LO5 Motor get for gas mileage? We have that motor in our 91 Chevy G20 (3/4 ton Van Conversion), and we're currently getting 15mpg on the freeway. (Cruising @ 75mph the entire time)
We're the original owners and the motor is 100% stock. We haven't changed the OČ Sensor, PCV Valve, or EGR Valve yet. Would changing out those three things make a difference? It's got 161k miles on it.
BTW: I know this is in the wrong forum, but I posted in the RIGHT forum, and no one responded, so I figured I'd ask you guys.

With that many miles, the O2 sensor & PCV valve needs to be changed anyways. The O2 sensor can help with a little bit of mileage. It is TBI? If it is, there are several other sensors that need to be changed. Might be the butterfly valve seals (that is what I have heard about TBI engines).

its not the fact taht its an L05 that gives it good gas milage, its the TBI system. if you were to transplant the entire TBI system, then yes, you would get good milage.
