Does anyone make a reproduction woodgrain dash bezel(smooth, not crinkle finish)? Or anyone have a lead on a super nice one? thanks

I need the actual bezel that is smooth, not the woodgrain applique.

no, you will have to get your original rechromed. For the record though, the woodgrain bezels were textured as well. they contact cemented the original woodgrain applique (not a decal) over the bezel. Trevor

For the record, the texture isn't as much as the other black bezels, but it does have a texture to it. Trevor

Ok, thanks for the info. I always assumed they were not textured so the decal would lay flat on the bezel.

Tim, do you know what company makes the repops? I know Counter fit is not as good as another brand but I can't remember the other brand. Trevor

They look nice, but have no prices on their site. I'm guessing you have to purchase through a dealer for them?

And here is a dealer for them online. The price doesn't look bad. But how closely do they actually match the factory wood grain? It doesn't look dark enough to me.
