Dropped spindles

Anybody have or know someone who has some dropped spindles for sale?

Hey bigjoe77,... welcome to the board.
When you registered,... you agreed to become a supporting member before you will be allowed to place forsale, want to buy, and what's it worth threads here.
($25 per year or $15/6 months)
Or you can browse as a "pink" member as long as you want.
All the blue, or different colored members have paid for one type of subscription or are a vendor.
I highly suggest becoming a subscribing member. It's a great investment,... there is an amazing amount of knowledge here,... and most of all,... you can find about any part you need through the classifieds, or the board vendors.
Many big named companies have members here on a regular basis.

Just to make this clear,.... what year spindles are you looking for?
What year truck are you working on?
One of the admins will probably edit your post,... but that's ok,... we all make a few mistakes. I know I did.

Yes,... I am curious what you are working on.
I'm a Moderator in the suspension section.
People are always selling disc brake parts here. (used or new)
Plus we have some of the best companies in the country, here on board, to help.
Classic Heartbeat, CPP, Ridetech, GMC Pauls, Scotts Hot Rods, Porterbuilt Street Rods,... just to name a few.
Look around in the Classifieds.
Also the suspension section.
Some of the older trucks require you to switch to disc brakes to allow the use of drop spindles.
Some of the 73-87 trucks have 2 different rotor thickness' (1" and 1.25" wide)
You can ask all the questions you want,... you just have to follow the rules of the board.

Cool.
The aftermarket spindle companies make 67-70 specific spindle that will allow you to use your original 68 ball joints and tie rod ends.
(CPP, Western Chassis, Early Classic, PerformanceOnLine, etc)

If you swap to 71-72 spindles you will HAVE to change the upper and lower balljoints, and outer tie rods to make them work.

Most aftermarket spindles use the wider 1.25" wide rotors that are readily available at your local parts store.
Plus you can use cheaper 73-87 caliper, seal, pads, etc.
71-72 specifc parts are sometimes higher priced.

I think I'm behind. I don't have any pics. It's pretty ugly anyway. I tore down the front end wanting to put discs on it, decided to buy everything from lmc, then cpp, then I decided to sell it, then I decided to keep it, then I decided to sell it...so now all I know is that I want to get it driveable...then I'll decide what I'm going to do for sure. I would like to keep it, but it needs ALOT of work and time and money are two things I don't have. I'm a firefighter and also work at Lowe's on my days off. Not to mention that I have two young kids who I love to spend my free time with. Anyway, thanks again for your help. When cash flow allows I will subscribe. I apologize for breaking the board rules.
