rims and tires

Hey guys getting ready to get my chassis to roller status in the front. I need some help. I put a porterbuilt front end and changed my rotors to 5x5 bolt pattern. I have been to pull a parts and c/l and havent had luck finding rims because there were no 73-87 models to pull rims from. My question is, what other models of car can I pull rims from? Like 80's model impalas or vans? I figured you guys would know!! I only need steel rims for now just to move it around

Re: rims and tires

GM big car (Pontiac, Olds, Cadillac) always had 5 on 5 wheels, from the mid-50's. Problem is that they probably won't clear the rotors on the disc brakes. But, any GM big car from '71 and up (again, Buick, Olds and Pontiac) will have wheels that should fit. Impalas and Caprices from the same era may fit, but some may still use the 5 on 4.75 pattern. Of course, GM trucks from the full size lineup (71 thru '98) will have the right pattern. No 4WD GM wheels will work, but you already knew that.
