Bumper Gaurds

Well I fancy to add the bumper guards to mine sometime soon, so I had a look around and found them on Ebay, checked out Classic Parts and they stock them also, but the difference in price is ridiculous....Classic Parts are knocking them out at $99.95 THE PAIR, the guy on Ebay is asking $119.00 EACH!
Do you think there is a quality issue here or are the ones on Ebay just way over priced?

Re: Bumper Gaurds

There is a set on ebay right now for $150 that are NOS, just looked at them. The price for the repops on ebay link is insane. If I were going to buy a set, I would buy the set from brothers for $99, but be warned the 67-70 do not fit tight against the 71-72 bumpers. The later bumpers have a slightly different curve to the face than the others and it leaves a slightly larger gap. If you want a "correct" tight fit, buy a set of NOS painted ones, grind to fit then have chromed.

Re: Bumper Gaurds

I would almost think the e-bay ones would be priced per pair. If its not a typo, that is pretty high. Plus they are side specific. If it matters to you, the short gaurds are 67-70, and the tall ones are 71-72. I will look and see if i have any extras around here.

That's not good news 71, I didn't realise there were fit issues with these, cheers for the heads up mate.

Nor did I realise there were short & tall...nothings easy I would prefer to have the tall ones then as they are specific to my year. Cheers Eric.
