I am very confident with the help of all you guys on this site. I hope my project can come out as nice as some of the truck I have seen on here.

Re: My 57 Project

The local antique wrecker has a step side box for $250 so I think I'll pick it up. I paid nothing for the truck so it's not gonna kill me to dole out a little cash. I have to find a camaro clip and rear diff and get this truck down where it belongs.

Cool start. I've always thought that the griller insert in the GMC hood would make a great cold air intake. Get ready for a lot of fun.

I think you need a little more room in your shop. Hey, I have an idea... you could park thatother car over at my place. I'll even come over and pick it up for you.

Re: My 57 Project

Woodbutcher I found that other car in Saskachewan when the farmer that owned it bought a new tractor and put the camaro outside for the winter! It was covered with a rotten tarp and smothered with radial tires ! I am glad I rescued her, and now hope to do the same for the 57.

Got the engine and trans pulled as well as stripped the body from the frame. Now the fun begins!
