cowling
I'm new to the whole do-it-yourself body work. I need help removing the cowling on a 90 'burban. I need all the help I can get. Thanx in advance.

I would be glad to help you just give me a little more to go on? witch part are you referring to? Different parts of the country call different things. The cowling I think off is the windshield cowl or cowl panel [since it is the piece that covers the cowl[firewall] ] just let me know and I'll help best I can. Jim

It is the panel where the wipers are located between the hood and windshield.

I posted a smiliar reponce to same question on another thread.
Remove 4 screws in front of panel and at the rear there are 5 nipples that slide into the firewall cowl.
