BALL JOINTS and TIE RODS

I'm sure there are several threads out there about this but...

What ball joints and tie rods do you guys recommend? Everyone has said Moog, but what about TRW? Do the Moog stuff have grease fittings?

Need to know as I would like to order mine this week.

Thanks

Re: BALL JOINTS and TIE RODS

Just go with a name brand of a major manufacture.....so that would be Moog and TRW. Moog is what I used and they all have grease fittings.

Re: BALL JOINTS and TIE RODS

I believe I used MPC they were somewhat cheaper but all went in really easy. Fit was great got them at O'Reilly's. Came with instructions and grease fittings. They had them in stock didnt have to wait.

Just my opinion...

Re: BALL JOINTS and TIE RODS

Hold a Moog and a MPC next to each other and you can see why Moog cost more.

Re: BALL JOINTS and TIE RODS

I've used both Moog and TRW, and had no problems with both. However, the Moog stuff is usually beefier out of the box. But depending on the project, the extra cost for Moog (or the wait time to get them shipped) sometimes cannot be justified and TRW is the next best thing.
