engine brake in went bad!
Finally got truck going again. Broke in cam for 20 min and no leaks. Next was to adjust idle. Set the parking brake, trans in drive and I adjusted carb. Walked away to grab something and parking brake sliped. Truck was rolling. I was inside a garage. Thoughts of damage to neighbour lexus and my truck were running in my head. Lucky for me battery charger stopped it. Charger was stock under the bumper. Red paint from charger is visible on the idler arm. I got lucky on this on. Atleast truck is running.
I still need to change oil and double check everything but it's enough for one day. Time for another cold one. |
