Prothane bushings...anybody tried them?

I'm looking at the prothane bushing set for our year trucks. Anyone try them yet? they have cab mounts, trailing arms, tranny, and sway bar ones for $120/set. I know there is the Energy Suspension one also.

Let me know if you guys have tried these.

thanks,
Jay

I have Energy suspension cab mounts on my 69. The truck rides a little stiffer, but the clutch works great! I guess you could say I like them Try Summit Racing for the cab mounts http://store.summitracing.com/partde...NS%2D3%2D4107G they have them listed for the C 10 also crazyL

I have prothane bushings in my trailing arms and panhard bar. They work great and don't squeak if you grease them up with they crap they give you with the bushings. I would think that it would be the same way with energy suspension's bushings. I may be wrong.

I have the prothane body/core support mounts. Made a big difference in the feel of the truck, everything felt more solid. I've also replaced my spring bushings w/ a mixture of ORD/energy suspension pieces feels tighter. Worth replacing in my opinion. Some where down the line I plan on installing poly motor, tranny and TC mounts.

I am installing them on the front sway bar, rear trailing arms, rear track arm (am debating on the motor mounts at this time).
I dont think I will install them on the cab or core supports, going
with OEM type rubber (new replacements)
I see they make the hard stops in the poly as well, but still think
rubber would be better there as well, if your hitting those on a
constant basis,,,you have problems.
The front suspension is all metal bushings on these trucks, but
I see they have poly seals available for tie rod ends and A-ARM
shaft seals.

I have a set of Energy Suspension cab and radiator support mounts for sale. I bought them, but decided on using a '67 front clip (67-68 uses different radiator support mounts) and ordered an entire new set of original rubber mounts.

No bolts ... just poly mounts. Email me if interested ... these things are in my way!

EDIT: Poly Body Mount bushings are sold.
