Initial Valve Adjustment
I'm doing final assembly on a 350. What is the proper way to set the valves for initial break-in? I'm using an "RV" style hydraulic cam, barely larger than stock, and Vortec heads.

I usually like to use a half turn on a new engine I'd rather be a little loose than to tight. are you using self aligning rockers..or guide plates? Its easier to do the adjustments if the intake manifold is off
