Sway bars
Has anyone installed a rear sway bar on their truck that didn't originally come with one. How much did it improve handling? Was it a pain to install?

i installed mine.
it wasnt a pain at all to install, took about 45 minutes. really easy. it did improve the handling quite a bit, especially on the highway when you are going at a higher speed |

I installed Hellwigs on my trucks, it was a simple bolt on and it came with everything needed.

Did you change the fronts as well, or just the rears? Is there much of an advantage changing the fronts too?

The 454ss came stock with 1 1/4 front bar but I upgrade it to polly bushings and endlinks, feels much tighter.

I've got a longbed with a 1 1/8" front bar and soft rubber mounts from a junkyard. I think it corners very well. The new coil springs may help there a little too.
