oh! didn't know where you got the pics. thanks! after it ended on e bay, a guy drove up from long island and drove it. asked if i would take cash, and the rest is history. i bought the orange and white lwb for short money and drove the wheels off of it for the last 4-5 years. now i have this mess that am in over my head on. i have a buddy from here who lives in grants pass now. he ships cars every month. no rust you guys are lucky.

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
Hate to jack your thread.....again but can you get some pictures of your English Wheel and that bike on the table? I showed the wife pictures of your place and she said she loved it, if you only knew how long I've been after her for a shop/house! I might be asking some questions in the future if you don't mind.

You my friend are living my dream!
I see Baldor buffers.... what looks like a power hammer..... very nice table for your hammers and shoot bag..... you painted the P13 from red to black or is it another one? very large brake...... what did you use for your legs on your fab table? etc,etc,etc........

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
thanks, not always a dream though, i work all day then go home to work. its tough on the wife sometimes, then it trickles down to, well you know. sometimes its like a clubhouse for big kids. there is a double headed plannishing hammer i built. watervliet/chicago pnumatic. same pullmax different shop/ new color. had a red phase. i have been buying and selling tools for 20+ years now. table legs are used well casings pulled out of the groung. a little paint goes a long way.

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
still a little up in the air on the rear brace, i think we are raising it up to match the floor and just welding in a filler piece under that , cant decide what to do about the inside of my tailgate either, i paid alot of money for this pull off gate (almost perfect condition) but i want to section the inside panels and shorten the rectangles so they will be up with the new floor also , if that makes any sense !! i just cant bring myself to cut up this tailgate !! i know its just metal, but it has survived this many years without even a dent

Looking good... love the motor trans combo! .. I'm envious of your tool collection!! I can't wait to see you put them to work this truck. What type of shrinker/stretcher is that ?

Re: 68 pro touring, auto cross c10 (mid life crisis)
thanks again guys, dash showed up tonight. 140 speedo, 8k tach with internals to run off the ls style wire. and the vacuum gage is swapped to a boost for the supercharger. i may do a re-screen of the lens and lose the 5s on the tach? looks busy.
