Thumbs down She says it looks liek a farm truck now. :(

I had to remove the twisted grill so could do something else in there, and I decided to install the white grill I painted a while back.
I figured since I had a straight one with no shine, and a lightly damaged one with no shine, and a totally kerfagled one with a tiny bit of shine left...I figured I'd paint the almost straight one, and see if this kid from work can get the straight one re-chromed for me. (He claims to have 'connections')
So whats the consensis?
Does it look like a farm truck now?

Andy...I can smell the hay seed from here...LOL! Hey looks good though. You could always to monochrome and paint it red to match the truck. Black looks threatening and mysterious...it's only a rattle can and a little sand paper!

Looks like a farm truck...supposedly that's not too far off what the '68 my mom's family had - on their dairy farm - before they got my '70!

Nothing wrong with it, except you oughta chrome that one too.

GMC grills need to be chromed IMHO. But it doesn't look too bad.

Farm truck? Maybe....

Looks pretty good to me .

A guy in town used to have a '67 GMC SWB step-side truck. The truck was painted completley red, except for the grille was painted black, both bumpers were black, and it had large 3/4 ton mirrors on it (the kind that attach both below and above the window glass). It looked pretty sweet IMO. It had a 454 under the hood, so it backed up it's aggressive looks pretty well.

i think GMC grilles look good in white or chrome. that looks pretty sharp. I guess my truck is a "beauty-fied" farm truck, as it was just used on a farm as a farm implement, to pull/push/carry stuff (according to the p/o)

Nothing wrong with farm trucks, but that's too clean for one. It needs a few bugs and some hay or grass sticking out the front and some dents and dings in there... Maybe some electrical tape wrapped around one of the lights.
