th350 shift linkage 2wd vs 4wd eh?
thanks to Thealien for posting this pic, its exactly what I was google searching for with little to no results.
The main bracket that is going from the framerail up and over the exhaust and connecting to the squared off U shape bracket on the trans, do these come in only one length? My 71 was missing its pieces from projects long ago, so I grabbed a setup off the local CL board. Got home, went to throw it in and I cant reach both the peg in the framerail, and the trans at the same time as seen in this pic. It doesnt appear to have been cut/welded, but it sure doesnt reach. Any ideas? It came with the piece that mounts to the frame, but that piece isnt identical to the shown above. The one I got is about 4" wide where the peg comes out centered, and has roughly 3" long legs that are made with a twist built into them. Thanks Erik |

Re: th350 shift linkage 2wd vs 4wd eh?
ok folks, nevermind. As seen in the pic above is what a 4wd setup should look like. The stuff I got is a 67-72 2wd. I've located a correct setup, but didnt have the cashflow on me to make it happen today. Maybe tomorrow I can find time to deal with it.
Then onto the other missing bits. Erik |

Here's a side by comparison for future board searches. Mel
