Anybody familiar with this company

I have 2 sets of chromed metal C-H-E-V-R-O-L-E-T tailgate band letters. I don't know how old they are. (I know they were on a shelf for 20+ years) They were made from a company called Custom Mold Dynamics Inc. in Millford Ohio. The company is listed as sold on the internet under transaction tombstones but doesn't say when it sold.

Their packaging has a sticker that states "Official General Motors' Licensed Product" I opened the package and the letter C has a raised part number 3944868. I pulled a letter C from an old original tailgate band and it also has this number on it. The installation instructions appear to be possibly done with a typewriter on letterhead.

Could this be a company that was contracted by Chevrolet to provide these for them.

If so these could be possibly "NOS" I also have these listed under "WIW" thread.

Here are some pictures to assist with my question

Any info is appreciated
Thanks

Yeah,CMD was the first company to remake GM emblems.that's what GM was selling in their restoration parts program they discontinued. But,the parts were also available elsewhere. In fact,GM jumped on the bandwagon later once they saw the demand.
