Another Ebay link, opinions please.

Does look like there are some minor rusting issues. Not sure, but I was thinking of offering closer to 3K. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What do you plan to do with the truck? If a complete restoration is on the plate I think you can find a much more solid truck for that kind of money. I would look to the southwest and buy a solid $2,000 longbed and have it shipped for your remaining $1,000. The money you will save on bodywork will be outstanding.

As far as that truck goes, that rust is a lot worse than it looks. When it starts poking out like that you know that there is a lot of metal that will be cut away to get to the solid stuff.

The truck has some nice options, but in my opinion is no $3,000 truck. I would say $1,500 to $2,000 in that condition.

I'm not looking to fully restore a truck. I just want a solid, but not perfect, truck to haul some items and to drive 2 to 3 times a week.

Ask for a lot more photos to be sent to your email address - box floor, undercarriage, mounts, rockers, top of windshield/gutter channel, cowl, bottom of doors, etc. before you make a decision. Good luck-hope it turns out to be just what you need.

If you are looking for a driver I would pay $2,000 for it, maybe a little more if it's exactly what you are looking for. In all reality that is a pretty solid truck for a 30 year old truck up in that area. I am sure you have looked at a lot that are a lot rustier.
If that truck is not close to you see if a boardmember that is close can go look at it for you. It's always great to get a 2nd hand opinion on a large purchase like this.
