Shift pointer question
Are automatic shift pointers from all years the same ?
I have a 68 C10 can't locate one.

nope, 67 - 70 was one style, 71 and 72 another style, and tilt wheels had there own. On the 2 styles that were non tilt, you can swap them out, but you'll want the perndle AND the pointer as a matched set.
