looking for a tap drill size chart
Hello,
Looking for a chart that shows the correct size drill bit to use before tapping a hole. Thanks, Mike |

Re: looking for a tap drill size chart
If you have a chance to use an industrial supply house, that caters to machinists and the like, they occassionally will give out drill/tap charts that can be hung on the shop wall.I have one that's several years old that I got that way. It's made of heavy washable plastic and is really handy since I need the info so seldom I don't have it memorized any more.About the only one I remember is that a 1/4 nc tap needs a #7 drill.
