Is this a good trade?
http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2134052531.htmlI'm not too familiar with these year trucks, I usuely hang out on the 60-66 and 73-87 forum but I have the opertunity to trade my 1985 CC DRW K30 for a 67 K10 that needs the rear dif replaced (cracked Pumpkin). Here is a link to the truck and the 85 is my Avatar. Tell me what you all think.

How does one crack a pumpkin? If they were that rough on the pumpkin, wonder what else was abused. But the final 'say' is yours.

Re: Is this a good trade?
Got hit on the pas side and it pushed the axle tube into the pumpkin. Frame looks okay though.

Re: Is this a good trade?
Do you need one of these 2 trucks as a driver? If so I say keep the crew cab. If not, and you like the 67 then it is probably a fair trade. A 67 4x4 is pretty desireable. I would triple check the frame, look good for rust, and be ready to spend a fortune on the 67.

Re: Is this a good trade?
Sounds like I'll keep the 85, have 3 kids and a wife after all. I just don't care for the 10 mpg w/ my 454. I know a 350 won't do much better but for a DD every little bit helps till we can buy a gas sipper in Feb
