IIRC, it's just like getting one registered with a TN. title. go in with the GA title, register the truck, and they mail you a TN title. it's been a while since I've gotten a truck registered, but I don't remember any special requirements...

Did you get a bill of sale with your truck? I have a truck from Ga. Haven't been able to get a TN title. what your going to have to do is try to get the title from Ga. Then get a Tn title. Even though my truck is a Ga truck have the last tag issued, and vin # they have no recollection of the trucks existence. Mine has been more than 10 years since it was last resgistered.
Tennesse has gotten stricter on given out titles and getting lost titles in the last few years.

Since GA doen't have titles and Tn does ,here is what's needed.

1. You need a GA registration from the last owner.
2. You need a Bill of sale that has been notarized with the Name of the owner and the trucks Vin #.

I just had to do this on my 71 GMC .
