Stock Steering column
I pulled out the stock column, and put in a tilt. Today, someone ask me about the old column and I have no idea what it is worth. I do not want to ask to much, but at the same time don't want to give it away. Any guesses, or those of you that have sold them in the past, what did you get for them?

It's hard to say. It depends on the condition. If it's very clean, I would guess somewhere around $75 or so for a real clean one.
An average one may be around $50. It also depends on where you live in the US. Supply and demand you know . . . Darren

50 or 75 for a stock non tilt!?
I was happy when the junk yard offered me a $15 core when i got my tilt, that is about the most I would ever want to pay for a stock truck non-tilt column, I have never seen one that was right, they have bearing problems and were a poor design. Throw a crappy shifter on top of it and you have a true pain in the Dana. JMO. |

The problem is the non tilt steering columns are readily availabe in the junk yards, I've got the same problem, I don;t know what to do with the old coloumn, and just have it sitting in my storage room
