Re: my 8 lug wheel to 5 lug
Are you trying to convert your 8 lug to 5 lug?

Re: my 8 lug wheel to 5 lug
I am using a set of stock steelies from a 92 Chevy. They look pretty close but they have more lip. They are 5 x 5" bolt pattern.

Re: my 8 lug wheel to 5 lug
I don't see why you couldn't. The tire in the pic is about 29" tall.

Re: my 8 lug wheel to 5 lug
If you just want flat stock type wheels, you can always use 5 lug 1973 and up Chevy truck wheels. Here’s a shot of a 15x6, which will accept any standard 10 1/8” hubcap.
If you want to retain the clip style hubcaps I’m afraid you’ll be out of luck. The last of the clip style wheels were in the 6 lug pattern. 1949-53 Chevy passenger cars used 15” clip style wheels, but they are 4 ¾” bolt circle. Early 50’s Oldsmobiles (and I believe Pontiacs) had clip style wheels in 5x5” bolt pattern, but I don’t know if truck hubcaps will fit on them. |

Re: my 8 lug wheel to 5 lug
I assume by suspension, you mean you're replacing that 3/4 ton axle in your first pic? I have never seen a 5 lug brake drum made for a 3/4 ton axle...
