Re: Legal Advice!

I know you paid him but there's always the "favor" aspect when dealing with friends and family. And I've learned favors always suck. They never get done right and you always get disappointed.

Re: Legal Advice!

I am happy you were able to speak to your uncle with dignity and honesty. Did you get a specific time frame which the truck will be done? did you all discuss milestones? I would have asked him for some type anyway. I hope he is shooting straight with you for both you and him but also your family too. I would bug him anyway close to the milestones, but that is me, also some guys here offered help for a weekend just to make some progress, it might be worth entertaining, probably only cost you some steaks and a few hundred beers.

Re: Legal Advice!

I like the idea of traveling to Salt Lake and helping him finish the project. I would be clear that it needs to be done so you can get home and keep working. You will be solving problems for both of you!

Or you can sell it to me CHEAP and I will finish it.

Re: Legal Advice!

You guys are funny, especially the joker's who think I'd sell my baby! I live in Phoenix, its 670 miles one way so a weekend trip is kind of out of the question. According to my Uncle the only things left to do are the linkage to the tranny and 4x4 shifter, fan shroud has to be made because he put on a 99 suburban serpentine system instead of staying with the V Belt setup. He says the headers are causing a problem with the original spark plug's, needs to get shorter spark plugs or something like that. There's a bunch of crap that just needs to be finished up, then turn it on and see what needs to be tweaked etc...

I wish I could just drive up there, spend a week and get it done.
