Cleaned her up a bit.

Just wanted to show off what was lurking under many years of surface rust, dirt and grime.
Still a fine looking truck underneath.

When I first got her:

What she looks like today:

Here's the interior:

I ended up using the CLR method to remove the severe surface rust from the hood and a few other areas.
Put on a coat of Mother's wax after that.
Still needs alot of good cleaning throughout.

Thanks for looking!

Love the white/olive green/white combo. My first truck had this color combo. Welcome to the board.

Re: Cleaned her up a bit.

Looks great.. I kind of like this color

According to the spid that's exactly what mine originally looked like as well..
Olive green, with white door panels, plaid seat, with the highlander option.
Mine's a custom deluxe C20 with a 350/350 and Dana rear.

Thanks! I'm not even for sure just yet. My current major goal is preservation, as there's not much money for much else. Resoration is likely in the future. It runs very well and seems to be in pretty good mechanical shape for now, though.

Ha! Actually, it bothers me too. I didn't notice until I uploaded the photos. I was like, "Damn!"

I think it's a pretty neat combo myself! Of course, I'm biased.

And thanks to everybody else!

Re: Cleaned her up a bit.

If you listen closely you can hear that truck crying out for a set of 8 inch truck rally wheels and white letter 275/60 tires.

I don't even have to listen closely. She's practically screaming it. LOL!

Thanks, everybody!
