Re: 72 c-10 shorty
well my new radiator showed up in the mail on thursday! one week from the day i ordered it off ebay. have had great luck with shipping. got the front box wall all staightened up and waiting for my friend to blast it and tell me to come and get it. had the box side blasted and got both sides of the body work done yesterday. worked out really nice. decided Im going to fix the original fenders over using the after market ones. I used the after market because I had them, but so far its all original steel other then the fenders,so why not spend a few more evenings and getter done.

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
a few more shots of the box side. ready for primer! perhaps today if im lucky!! my friend next door is a carpenter by trade, and hes always over hanging out and learning new things with me! nice having the spare hand and the company to keep pluggin away. I forgot to buy 3 inch grinding wheels for my air grinder so I had to use a 4 1/2 zip cut to grind down my welds. not the best way, but a little filler hid it all! hahaha! with some help im impressed when you think I only started this truck on the 10th of October. between work and the new baby, its amazing how a few hours each night and weekends adds up!

Re: 72 c-10 shorty
I wish I could find good front fenders. I live in a small town of 25000 people and a few years back the crushers came in and crushed anything and everything so finding parts is really hard. how you making out with your project??

Im at the point where im going to have to get the hood worked over next. worked on my door glass as well today.cant wait to hang these fenders.
