Good, but wet Sunday

Took a cruise over to Florida to pick up some stuff from Wornbrakes. Got to meet Greasemonkey. Always good to meet new truck heads. Greasmokey you truck is great. Looks real good. those new wheels really set it off. Too bad the day was so short. At least it was only wet in between our places.

C U folks next go round...brakes....the 68 needs to be on the road by then.

Hey it was good to meet you and wornbrakes. It's cool to meet people that you don't know but have something in common with. We need to get together sometime when me and you don't have to rush off so fast.
Those wheels are the Eagle 028 series. I got them from a local speed shop for about $80 apiece. They are 15X8 with 275/60/15 all the way around. Thanks for posting the picture- I had some pictures with the new wheels but I lost the film before I got it developed lol.

Man...That was hot when I was a kid... If I remember rigth Barris was the designer/builder. The Monkee mobile was the coolest ride in town...Nothing was better than something off created from a 67 "goat".

I really enjoyed having both Palf and Monkey over. I agree with you krue, we all need to get together down here sometime. Greasemonkey's truck is nice! Makes me want a shortbed. Palf, you need to get that 70 on the road. I just picked up the balancer and detent cable today for the 68 so all I need now is the detent bracket. I hope to fire it up in a week or so. What is the max RPM you can do when you are braking in an engine? If 3500-4000 is ok, I can take the drive over to your place to burn some miles and get the brake in over with.

I think that you just want a truck with the # 69 in it.

I like your '69 too. If you go to sell it, can I have first dibs since I'm closer? lol
We do need to meet sometime again- with some more of the southern members. Did you ever find out what happened to Green70-72?
Wornbrakes- 3500-4000? How fast are you going to be going?

I think that there are ten peolple that would all say they have first dibs on the 69. Chris had something come up that he had to tend to. He said that he wished that he could of made it.
