Need Help
Last night while driving home I pull on the lights and the dash lights, turn signal lights and the fuel gauge all quit at the same time. The circuit board and wiring are all new I am going to check fuses today but hoping its not going to have to have the dash pulled for the 7th time any other suggestions before I tear her apart again.

Re: Need Help
Not trying to sound like a wise a##,but did you try turning the lights off to see if the dash came back on.I would start with the fuses then go from there.Could be a bad ground or you have something crossed.

Re: Need Help
I agree, I would check fuses and make sure you have a good ground. If you look below the light switch on the instrument bezel you should see one bulb with black socket should have a ground wire to it. Make sure that wire is connected and ohm is out. That is where I found my problem.

What do you mean by "ohm is out"? I have the same problem - did you ever figure out what your problem was? Thanks

On your multi meter, There is a symbol, That looks like an upside down horseshoe. Using this, Leave the fuse out, Put one lead to the frame, And the other to your instrument board ground. You should get a reading, Or should I say number. Then put one lead on the frame, Or cab metal. And the other on your hot wire to your panel. You should get " O.L." meaning out of limits. This would mean there isn't a short in your panel. Then turn your switch on, And do the same thing again. This will test the wiring between fuse panel, And the switch. Hope this helps. Spike

Re: Need Help
Just figured it out yesterday morning after pulling all the fuses and taking a look around the harness to make sure nothing was not connected I checked the plug into the dash looked tight. For the heck of it I pushed on it and it went in a little more and the lights came on I guess I had it in put not all the way in was really starting to get scared that I fried another circuit board putting it back together.

Re: Need Help
Good to see you got it figured out. Also start with the simple things first then trouble shoot from there.
