Re: Got too much stuff - - -

Is the tailgate band aftermarket? Also I'm not sure how the real "too much" will feel about your title.... Kinda sounds like you might have him locked in your basement! Sharpie

Depending on what Sharpie does, I might be interested in the tailgate band as well. So put me in line.

Re: Got too much stuff - - -

Shouldn't the letters be chrome, if so why would they need painting. Are the letters plastic or metal.

very good deals! Is that bumper an original that was re-plated or a reproduction?

The late 80's NOS tailgate bands featured plastic silver painted letters. Trevor

Thanks for the reply Trevor. Are late 80's NOS tailgate bands an exact match and size to bolt onto a 72 SWB Fleetside. (Screw hole placement)

Re: Got too much stuff - - -

Sorry for the delay. I fell asleep. The tailgate band came off a '70. Can't speak for originality. Matches up with original mounting. I have the mounting instructions and new mounting scews that will go with it. The bumper is a replated original. Replated by Tri-City in TN. They guarentee their work for life however I don't know if the guarentee is transferable and I KNOW I cannot come up with a receipt.

Yes, the woodgrain matches oem stuff and everything else is the same except the letters are painted plastic. Trevor

Re: Got too much stuff - - -

71super - you are third in line. Sharpie bowed out. Need to see what smoorg07 wants to do.

$200 on the bumper is firm. tabarcus, let me know if you want it.

I'll let 71super have the tailgate band. I'm looking for one with metal letters. I agree with sharpie that it's a good price. Its yours 71super.
