Re: did I get a good deal?
You could possibly have overspent a bit.
Ive picked up well used models at wreckers for $20 - $25 add to that a rebuild kit and some time... It looks like your missing some of the linkage and choke assembly. The hardest part ive found with Qjets is keeping track of what they have and what they dont. Visit Quadrajetparts.com - They will have everything you need and Greg is great to deal with. |

Looks to be for a 79 454. I would say you paid top dollar for it.

Re: did I get a good deal?
Usually $20-25 is the going rate, but if it can be verified that it is a factory big block carburator then I have seen those sell on the forum for $75-100.

It will only be a good deal if it performs well!

Re: did I get a good deal?
It's a good deal to me if you're happy with it
