Manual Brakes
Is anyone running manual brakes after doing a disc swap up front? I converted to 5-lug disc in the front and am trying to decide manual or power.

Re: Manual Brakes
Yes, I've done manual disc brakes on several trucks. They work fine.

Re: Manual Brakes
I've always had manual disk brakes up front on mine, I've never had an issue with them. I always try to leave a little extra room between me and the guy in front of me though.

Re: Manual Brakes
I just completed swaping to disc, and I did not go power assisted.
All parts I got were for a 74 with nonpower disc brakes. Have not had a chance to get it out and test. My 55 belair has disc on the front and no power booster due to the huge cam. It has 4" wide tires on front and 16" wide on rear and it stops fine. Posted via Mobile Device
