Small Center Cap Project.

Hey guys,

Figured some of you would like to see this..

Anyways, I decided to buy the dual thread lug nuts for the newer rally wheels I bought so I could install the center caps on them. However, the center caps were GMC caps. It would of looked funny with GMC on the centers and a bowtie on the grill!

I found a guy here in Washington a few years back that makes Gel Style Center Caps, They are very nice quality and available in all sorts of different sizes and color combos. I chose to do a black background with silver lettering.

If anyone is interested the guys website is www.makingitdigital.net

They took about a week after I ordered them to get to me.

Heres what they came out like

A little closer up..

Heres a before and some after pictures.

Re: Small Center Cap Project.

They are almost Identical to the GMC ones that were on there (I just cleaned the GMC emblem with alcohol and stuck the emblems right to the old ones.) I will get pictures after they are installed, I purchased some 1.5" spacers for the rear because the wheel sat in to far for my liking so im doing everything this weekend.

I have some 15" Rally wheels on the truck now, I sold the 20s because everyone had them and I wanted to be different. Im having some 22s made for the truck. But they wont be put on until the truck gets bagged.

If you scroll down the page, youll see the truck with the rallys.

Heres the wheels im having made, The rears should of been done by now but the place making the wheels has been behind so still waiting on them.

Heres what they look like though. Same exact finish

Its about the same drop, the new wheels and tires didnt really change anything. The front tire is still the same hieght as the 20 was, the back is the only place that dropped. The old 20 was 28" tall out back. The wheel on the truck now is 26"s tall so I dropped down 2inches.

The wait is killing me! Funny thing is, I will still only get to look at them in the boxes until the truck is bagged!!

Its called "Light Blue Metallic" GM Code 23 I think. Not sure will check later and give you the correct code.
