tell me your core support opinion
I am almost at the point in my project to buy a core support. However, I am undecided as to NOS, OEM used or aftermarket. What are your opinions about fit, quality, finish and experience? I think the core support is the foundation of the front end and very important. If I go with aftermarket they are primed. Should it be painted or used as is? OEM used will have rust issues and probably need blasted and require paint. Is NOS any better or different for the money spent?

Re: tell me your core support opinion
GMCs were never reproduced and I managed to find quite a few solid and clean used core supports. I think you could find a nice Chevy one. I don't have any experience with repro, but I would definitely paint it. N.O.S. is always good,as you know.

Re: tell me your core support opinion
Repro are junk! I have one on my truck, and I had to do some modifying to make it work. I have since bought an NOS one( no it's not for sale). I would buy a nice used one if you can"t find an NOS.
