How much dynamat?
How many square feet of dynamat is need to cover out truck cabs and doors? I'm moving my tank under the bed so I will dynamat the back wall to the fire wall. What brand is the least expensive? Dyamat is very expensive IMO. A friend of mine works for Best Buy doing stereo installs and can get it to me at cost for $178 for 33 square feet ($269 retail).

Re: How much dynamat?
That is a pretty good price, and I would think that would be enough to cover your truck. Might suggest looking at Ebay for a 9 sheet box of Dynomat, I think it is less than the price your friend can get it for.

Re: How much dynamat?
I used flashing sealer( I thinks thats what its called) from Home Depot or Lowes, its with the shingles and a lot cheaper than Dynomax. I doubled it up to make it thicker but I still only have like 50 bucks into it.

Re: How much dynamat?
i used this stuff from lowes....cheap enough. i used spray adhesive to bond it to the cab floor and taped the seems with metal duct tape...worked well.

Re: How much dynamat?
I would suggest this guy's stuff. It's better and cheaper than Dynamat. It's cheaper than Second Skin and awfully good quality. The guy is very helpful in helping you determine exactly how much and what you need to for what you want to accomplish. I gutted and setup my daily driver with it. Great results. I'll be doing it in my `68 when I get to that point.
