Grill support color?
Hey guys just wondering, for you grill support (this part http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1964-...Q5fAccessories) do you typically paint it the body color or just black?

Wow he wants a lot of money for that one!
That piece would get mainly body color. Depending on your tastes, the perimeter around the grill is often painted white. Then the center that is behind the grill would be a satin black.

awesome thx for the info
 I was considering having mine powder coated black, but i think body color would look best .. Yeah, that one is expensive.. but I just grabbed the link for reference, not buying it.

I think it really depends on your body color. I have seen where the top of cab is white, bottom is red and behind the grill is also white, looked really good. It is all up to you though

From the factory that piece was painted the same color as the fenders and the hood and, as the Capt. said, the 2 inch band surrounding the perimeter of the grille was painted white.
