I'm trying to locate the insert that goes in the center console in a '85 suburban.

what piece are you talking about? i got an 87 suburban i bought for parts and i have no use for the center console that is in between the front bucket seats if that is what you are talkin about if it is the same as a 85.

The part I'm looking for is like a plastic bucket that goes inside the console. You keep your stuff in this. The way mine is right now you can see the carpet and some wires. I'm sure there has to be some type of insert that should go in here.

CT- Could you get me the deminsions on that console. I've got an 75 crew cab with factory buckets, and no consol, Would be nice if it would fit. Thanks Tibbar
