Abc? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Has anyone ever heard of The Associated Blazers of California? They were a 4x4 club that started in the 70's and was strong into the early 90's. My parents were members and we used to camp all over when I was a kid, it was a great group lots of Blazers in the hey day even pickups. They would have small truck races and small events getting everyone involved especially kids. I know the club still exists, but it is poorly managed. Any body have anything like that where they are at?

I looked at their FB Pictures and I didn't see a single Blazer.

I will have to dig out some old pics of all the trucks..... We should start something up, these trucks are too much fun to keep them away from offroading!

not anymore but iam slowing taking all the trucks and blazers back to new hampshire with me i was born in corona that logo is the best ever someone should make them id buy some

I have a jacket from when I was little (maybe 7) that has a patch sewn on the back with that emblem. I'll dig up pics this weekend.

I dig old clubs I Own a RV park & cabin campground in northern Ca and would offer to host a event this summer if some one would like to put it together?
I think it would be awesome to see my park for of blazers and great people

Really! Cool! Were is your RV park located? I have a truck camper and allways loking for somewere new to visit. Any off roading near by?

It is located 1 Hour south of Klamath Falls in Tieonesta Ca right south of Tulelake on Hwy way 139. Lots of back country trails, Lava bed national park is right up the street and medicine lake is 30 min away. I will post a link to our web site tonight. It would be great to see some of you this year up there.

Just looked at that area in google. Man Tule Lake is WIERD looking, square and all kids of wierdness in the water? Crazy

Tule lake is more of a marsh rather than a Lake? Its awesome waterfowl hunting. Here is website we had some website problems (long story) but you can see our park and cabins and local recreation
