Buddy Buckets for $50?

Well, sort of. I bought a set of seats out of a 2003 Dodge truck. They are similar to buddy buckets. Hopefully I'll be able to get them installed without too much trouble. The upholstery on the driver seat is a little torn, but I got the back seat also and kept the cloth to get it fixed someday.

First Ive got to get the beast running and driving!

Re: Buddy Buckets for $50?

for the price that buddy buckets are going for you can make those look almost identical to the real ones

Re: Buddy Buckets for $50?

Great score!!!! I've been looking for some for awhile....but all I can find are torn junk ones...Im planning on using the bench seat tracks and weld some angle iron to be able to mount the Dodoge seats on.

Re: Buddy Buckets for $50?

They are out of a 2003 Dodge crew cab, if that helps someone find some.

Did you buy them at a pick-n-pull or off CL?

Re: Buddy Buckets for $50?

Some days you win one. Those look good in there. A guy could probably take a section out of the bases if they sat too high.

I'll have to measure the seat in my coworkers Dodge tomorrow if he brings it to work and doesn't ride the put put.

Re: Buddy Buckets for $50?

Those are very comfortable, and the console is functional. I know the purest will hate me, but this is a MUCH better choice than the original buddy buckets.

Re: Buddy Buckets for $50?

No problem, I'll do that sometime in the next few days. I haven't bolted them in yet. I just dropped them in place, but they are no higher than the old bench. I measured about 6" from the bottom of the wheel to the seat on the bench, and this one is about the same. It also is about the same distance back from the wheel as the bench.

Pics of the side of the seats for 67 Shortfleet. Sorry it took so long but I am really busy at work and not much time to work on the truck.
