thanks i could not have done it without the help of my friends. They scheduled my wifes truck from shop to shop so i could get it in no waiting. Now my chevelle will not go so well, because my wife is super pumped about her truck i now get to install a ls1 and 6 speed in it. Plus my friend like my wife more than me lol.

I agree the grill looks way better, and your making great progress too, i had no idea the carpet needed to be glued down yet i am no body man. I envy the shop, if i had one i'd probably get some work done on my truck this time of year! Great job! EDIT: Forgot to add i see nothing wrong with the seat..

Re: My wifes 70 build.

Your build is looking great!
I see your wife is happy with her truck.

Summit is usually great about you getting your
parts quick, But I've been waiting on axles for almost 2 months.

What i did was put sound deadner in the glues 2 layers of padding and then glued and molded the carpet. This way i got more insulation in than if bought a preformed carpet and came out better as money got 125.00 in it and was able to get the carpet almost up the whole firewall.

Re: My wifes 70 build.

Its been awhile and thought i would up date. I have pics of finished interior. Will upload them tonight. Me and my friend jerrie(who owns the upholstry shop) got the door panels made and installed, and a bowtie headliner put in. Now comes the air bags i got off a member here. I do have a question if somebody could help. My tires are 28" tall, when i put the bags on is the tire going to clear. It is not notched and does not have anything on it to lower it except those darn heated springs. I will get some pics up tonight if anybody want to see. Thanks.
