Unhappy TH700R4 T.V. cable adjustment help needed.......

I got a new TCI 700R4 and they sent a universal type TV cable, with the little set screw thing on the cable that you tighten where you need the cable to hold........how do you set these kind of cables, so the pressure is right........I am putting it on a Holley carb and I bought the bracket they said to buy, but these cables kinda rattle my brain a lil.......................Thanks Brad

Your best bet is to get it to where it'll shift somewhat right, and head directly to a tranny shop that will use pressure guages to set it.
This is the only way to set it right.
If it does not get adjusted just right, you'll have a $2500 paper weight in about 2000 miles.

yeah the pressure guage method is the only way... check out www.bowtieoverdrives.com as i think they've got a good instruction sheet on there but you NEED the pressure guage to know where things are set at.

And longhorn is right.. those 2500 dollar paper weights are a pain.
