Need a 4x4 K5 frame measurement

On the rear of the frame, right where it levels out behind the wheel well... is the measurement from top frame rail to bottom frame rail the same as it is at the back of the frame? I think its different on a 2wd, but need to confirm that its the same on a 4x4. Hopefully that makes sense.... and yes, I know this is a truck frame, but you get the idea.

Thanks!

On my frame it's about 4.5" before the hanger and just under 4" after the hanger. The picture is not the best but all I had was my phone.

That's about what I got. Mine was 4.7" right behind the back of the wheel well bend. And 4.2" right in front of the rear crossmember.

Re: Need a 4x4 K5 frame measurement

Bringing up an old thread... I just ran into an issue with shackle flip kit. It interferes with the body mount. I measured the frame right in front of the bracket and I came up with 4.25” …. Can someone (or a couple people) check the height under the back side of the body mount? Also, I know the 72 frame is different from 71 back, so list the year of your frame as well…. thanks
